Activities and Support

  • We offer a wide range of activities to our residents with options to suit all physical and mental abilities.
  • All residents go out for walks twice a day.
  • Our designated activities coordinator along with the staff team organise daily activities such as craft sessions, sensory sessions, baking, Bingo.
  • We raise chicken in our back garden. The residents are involves in collecting the eggs which they then use to bake or to eat for breakfast or lunch.
  • We offer opportunities for you to learn new skills, become more independent and try new experiences. The residents are supported to access day centres, a workplace, and colleges.
  • We encourage our residents to access the wider community. They regularly go out for lunch at the local pubs, restaurants, go for coffees, attend local events.
  • The residents attend social clubs weekly as organised by Mencap where they can socialise with their peers.
  • The residents go away on holiday at least once a week every year to a destination of their choice. We have regular residents meeting to discuss and review activities amongst other things.
